Google is going tvfygo Google is going to be beaten to the punch. For years consumers have eagerly awaited the public launch of the firm’s self-driving cars: autonomous pods that will leave us free to read, watch TV or work on tasks other than driving. Now it seems as if traditional car manufacturers are about to take the lead. General Motors said that it would spend $500 million with car-hailing service Lyft to build “an integrated network of on-demand autonomous vehicles in the US”. Toyota is building a new research institute to work on autonomy, while Audi, BMW, Ford and others also announced progress in their efforts to develop driverless cars. Mercedes has developed a self-driving research vehicle (pictured above) and taxi app Uber has already announced billions of dollars in autonomous car investment. On the map At the moment, Google doesn’t have much of this extra data and neither does anyone else. But now, car manufacturers are banding together to make their own ma...

Hey friends ! Im here shashank taking u too the intresting world where you will know about the technology nd science in an intresting way. TODAY i bought u some crazy facts on environmental physics which u know as basics but all i wanna say is it create your intrest more on these science based things hope u enjoy it CRAZY FACTS 1 . Air near the surface of the ocean moves slower than air at higher altitudes due to friction with the water. Albatross can use the a north-south wind speed gradient to fly without flapping their wings when going east-west by moving downwind at higher altitudes to gain speed relative to ground and then moving to a lower altitude before going in their intended direction wow thats cool ryt . . . . 2 . The hypothetical sterile neutrino does not interact via any of the fundamental interactions in the Standard Model except gravity. ohhh la la. . . 3 . Water in the liquid state possesses many molecular interactions which broaden the absorption pea...

LAS VEGAS – A sleek new device could help you charge your phone without an electric outlet. Swedish startup MyFC unveiled its cool technology, dubbed JAQ, here at CES on Jan. 6. The device, which is small enough to slip into your back pocket, is a fuel cell charger. It uses saltwater and oxygen to convert chemical energy into electricity. Then it uses that electricity to charge your phone's battery. The charger consists of a credit card-shaped "power card" and a hollowed out port that's roughly the size of a smartphone. The card contains saltwater, which fuels electricity-producing chemical reactions when you slip the card into the port. To get that electricity to your phone's battery, you simply plug your phone into the port with a standard cable. [Smartphones With the Longest Battery Life] One JAQ power card produces about 1,800 milliampere-hours' (mAH) worth of electricity — that's nearly enough energy to fully charge an iPhone 6S. Neuroscientists have worked for decades to better understand how the brain functions. Recent advances in brain mapping technology have made that ambitious task easier. An international team of researchers at the Human Brain Project have created a three dimensional atlas of the brain. The maps resolution is fifty times better than previous efforts. The atlas creators digitally stitched together thousands of brain cross-sections. The map shows details up to 20 micrometers in size—the estimated size of many human cells. While this is a huge advancement, scientists still aim to create a map that shows details at 1 or 2 micrometers, rather than 20.
